So I arrived in Chang Mai after a horrible journey. It wasn't that bad really, I was just really hungry because I ddfin't have enough food on the train.
I found out aboutthe slow boat to Laos and I will need to leave here on the 27th if my visa expires on the 28th. So today I am going straight to Pai for a few days to do a trek, my minibus leaves at 12:30. It is malarial there so I will start taking my pills now untill I leave Cambodia, I may stop in Vietnam, it depends where I stop.
Hopefully I can get on a trek starting tomorrow and be back in Chang Mai on the 24th/25th, have a few days here, maybe go mountian biking, then get on to Laos.

Yo Tom it's Rhys, look for a bar call the Chang Mai Saloon. It's this cool Texas steak house run by this massive Texan dude. When you buy a drink they give you a marker pen to write on the walls. The place is covered in tales.
